Downwing or Puppy Eyeliner

Droopy eyes, also known as puppy eyes are so cute and was a staple in ulzzang makeup styles. I’m going to be using the Shu Palette for all of my eyeshadow looks.
Firstly I like to apply a slight beige base eyeshadow all over my lids to brow bone as a base. Then I’m going to take a shimmer peachy pink colour and apply it all over my lids with my fourth finger and blend the edges. Taking the Shu Uemura Calligraph ink eyeliner I’m going to be fowwlowing my natural curve and drawing it down. I’m going to connect it to my bottom lash line in a triangular wing. Colour the triangle in to finish off your winged look and finish off by blending the wing by lining through to your upper lash line. Next I’m taking a pearl colour and applying it to my inner corners to brighten up the eyes and create a cute sparkle. Finally take a black matte shadow and blend the lower winged line along your lower lash line, concentrating on the outer half of the eye.
Next curl your lashes by pumping from the base of your lashes through to the end while moving your curler up to create a rounded curl. Finish off by applying mascara to the top and bottom lashes concentrating on the middle lashes. This look is much cuter if you don’t use falsies.
These cute down winged puppy style eyes look so beautiful with a thicker straight brow and pink blush applied to the apples of your cheeks. Also try wearing it with pink ombre lips with a touch of gloss which keeps your makeup looking soft and sweet. I’m using the Shu Uemura Lip Lacquer in PK01 to achieve these lips.
Here’s the completed look that is both innocent and sweet and will make you look youthful and glowing!

Natural Wing or Straight Eyeliner

Straight wings are so natural and elegant as well a polished. It’s the perfect look for a simple and elegant girl that still loves to be made up and polished. Park Sora from StyleNanda is a huge fan of this eyeliner style. Using the she palette I’m going to apply a light beige all over my lids to brow bone as a brightening base. Next I’m taking the matte soft brown and applying it just above my crease with my eyes open blending down to my crease. Concentrate the colour on the outer half of your lids and blending well. This creates a natural looking contour. Now taking my Shu Uemura Calligraph ink pen I’m following my natural curve and extending out in one single clean line. You want to finish the line around or even before the bottom of your pupils. If you extend below this point your eyes may look droopier. Now finish off by lining your upper lash line between your lashes, keeping it really thin and using it to make your lashes look fuller as opposed to an actual thick line. Taking the soft matte brown I’m using it to define my lower lash line softly concentrating on the outer corner softly joining my black liner. Finish off by curling your lashes and applying mascara to the top and bottom lashes.
These eyes look so beautiful paired with your natural brow shape. Soft contouring in a really light cool toned brown also looks amazing with this look. You can learn more about soft contouring in my day to night contouring video. Finish off your cheeks with a peachy tone blush blended from the lower apples to your temple. Finally I’m using the Shu Uemura lip lacquer in RD01 to finish off the look. Bright red lips really look stunning with this elegant eyeliner style and is definitely a look you can wear to a job interview a fancy dinner or as a way to make you feel polished and confident!

Up Wing or Cat Eyeliner

Cat eyes or the classic winged liner is a look that can lift up your eyes and make you look sexy and confident. This is the most popular liner style in the west and CL is also a huge fan of this wing paired with smokey eyes. Using a light beige shadow I’m applying this all over my lids to brow bone. Next taking the soft brown I’m applying it on my outer crease just like we did with the straight liner. Next I’m taking a medium brown shadow and applying it on the outer half of my lids. Use a fluffy brush to blend your shadow out. Next taking my calligraph in pen I’m going to create a wing up from the corner of my eye. It’s up to you on how high you want to wing it, I usually follow an imaginary line from the corner of my eyes to the ends of my brow. I won’t go higher than my upper lash line. Next draw a line from the end towards your lash line in a straight line and continue on by lining the rest of your upper lash line You can go all the way to the inner corners for a fierce look, this line will be thicker. Now take the medium brown shadow and apply it all the way along your lower lash line for a slightly smokey look. After curling my lashes I’m going to be applying a winged false lash. I love the Miss Minx from Tiny minx because they are so fluffy looking and have the perfect winged ends for this look. They look incredibly soft and not plastic which I love. You can see how big a difference a great pair of lashes can make for any makeup look. Finally apply a lot of mascara on your lower lashes to balance it with your falsies.
I’ve drawn on arched brows to match this fierce look and you can use concealer to create an arch if you have straighter brows naturally. This look goes so well paired with a heavy contour blended with a peachy gold toned blush which also helped to highlight your cheeks . Nudes and plum lips goes so well with winged liner and I chose this beautiful nude rose to finish off the look.
I love how this wing creates such a fierce and confident look perfect for parties and well everyday if you really want! You go glen coco
