New hair!! I finally have lilac hair!!

Screen-Shot-2013-08-11-at-3.21.22-PM

If you have been following my blog for a while you’d know that I’ve always coveted lilac hair, like for almost a year now!!

Ironically I’ve gone ombre (and did a lilac hair chalking tutorial), blonde and pink before even touching lilac because I guess I had always been a bit nervous about how the color would turn out and even if I could even achieve it because my hair isn’t bleached light enough.
Overtime I’m happy to say my blonde has gotten lighter and lighter and I’m slowly hitting a light platinum blonde which has always been my dream color. Unfortunately hairdressers here don’t touch my hair and do it platinum because they are afraid to (and I’ve approached even asian hair dressers that should understand).
I guess it’s because my ends will fry due to a lot of dying it different colors over the years….
Anyways, so I’ve slowly gotten down to a light enough blonde to dye it lilac and last week after I came back from Bali I finally did it!!

You can join me on my hair dying journey here through my video tutorial :)!!

What do you guys think of the lilac?? Or did you prefer pink or blonde :)!!? I’m also going to go a darker brown soon for a little while so you guys can help me decide which colour I should decide to stick with :DD
Have a beautiful day 🙂

xoxo Wengie

if you want to lighten your hair more use a mixture of honey and lemon juice. It will naturally lighten your hair like 6 shades if you do it regularly.. leave it in your hair like 30 min to an hour and wash out, do it once a week. it'll help condition your hair as well! i previously did that for about 2 months and my hair went from black to a dark brown (then i died my hair red and it took way better).

I think the lilac looks nice than blonde (both are nice, though! ^ ^) But imo the blonde washed you out a bit :P. Very pretty!! ❀

I remember seeing a few photos of people with pastel lilac hair a while ago and I loved the look! I hadn't seen any Asian's with it though but you definitely pull it off! The shade is a lot softer than your pink hair was and I think that's why I like it a little more 🙂

I really liked your blonde, but I've always been a fan of unnatural colors! And Lilac is such a pretty color! It looks great on you! I love your hair either way, you look fantastic no matter what, so just do whatever you enjoy most! 🙂
